Merge PDF files
Combine two or more PDF documents into a single file. Drag to set the order, click merge, done. Unlike other online tools, PDFAgent processes everything locally in your browser — your documents never leave your device.
How to use the Merge PDF tool
Select or drag the PDF files you want to combine.
Reorder them — the merged PDF follows the list order.
Click “Merge PDF” and download the combined file.
Your files stay on your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no upload step and no server processing — open your network panel and check: zero document data is transmitted. It even keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of PDFs I can merge?
No fixed limit. Because merging happens on your own device, the only practical limit is your device memory. Dozens of files and hundreds of pages work fine on a normal computer or phone.
Will the merged PDF keep the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied directly between documents without re-compression, so text, images and vector graphics keep exactly their original quality.
Can I change the order of the files before merging?
Yes. Use the arrows or drag the files in the list — the final document follows that order exactly.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential documents?
Yes — and verifiably so. PDFAgent has no upload step: your file is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser and never leaves your device. You can open your browser’s network panel (or even go offline after loading the page) and confirm that no document data is transmitted.
