The short version

PDFAgent processes your PDF files inside your browser. There is no upload step: your documents, their contents, their names and any passwords you type never reach our servers, because our servers never participate in the processing. We cannot see, store, scan or share your files — the architecture makes it impossible, not just a promise.

What we do NOT collect

• Your files or any content extracted from them.
• Passwords used to protect or unlock PDFs.
• Accounts, names or email addresses — there is no signup.
• Analytics identifiers — we run no analytics of our own.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep the tools free, PDFAgent displays ads through Google AdSense. Google, as an independent provider, may use cookies and process data such as your IP address and ad interactions to serve and measure ads, and — where you consent — to personalize them. In the EU/UK, Google shows its own consent message before setting any non-essential cookie.

Your documents are never involved in advertising: ads and PDF processing are completely separate, and your files stay on your device in every case.

What is technically processed

Like any website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser user-agent, timestamp) when it serves the page files. These logs are used only for security and capacity monitoring and rotate automatically. They never contain document data.

Third-party resources

• Google Fonts — the page typography loads from Google's CDN; Google receives the standard request metadata (your IP, the font requested).
• jsDelivr CDN — only on the OCR tool, the Tesseract recognition engine downloads from jsDelivr. The engine downloads to your device; your scanned pages are not sent anywhere.

Your rights (GDPR)
