    Frequently asked questions

    What resolution should I choose?

96 dpi is fine for web and chat, 150 dpi for documents you will read on screen, 300 dpi if the image will be printed or zoomed. Higher dpi means larger image files.

How do I convert just the first page?

Type “1” in the pages field. You will get a single JPG downloaded directly, no ZIP.

Does it work with scanned PDFs and complex graphics?

Yes. Pages are rendered exactly as a PDF viewer displays them — fonts, vector graphics, images and transparency all included.

Is it safe to use this tool with confidential documents?

Yes — and verifiably so. PDFAgent has no upload step: your file is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser and never leaves your device. You can open your browser’s network panel (or even go offline after loading the page) and confirm that no document data is transmitted.
