Resize an image
Forms are picky about dimensions: "600×600 pixels", "maximum width 1024". Set the width and/or height and choose whether to fit proportionally (no distortion) or force the exact size. Leave one field empty to auto-calculate it from the aspect ratio. Batch-friendly and 100% local.
How to use the Resize image tool
Select or drag your images.
Enter width and/or height in pixels and pick fit or exact.
Click “Resize image” and download.
Your files stay on your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no upload step and no server processing — open your network panel and check: zero document data is transmitted. It even keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize without distorting the photo?
Use "Fit" mode: the image is scaled to fit inside your width×height keeping its proportions. Use "Exact" only when a form demands precise dimensions and slight distortion is acceptable.
What if I only know one dimension?
Fill just that field. The other is calculated automatically from the image’s aspect ratio, so nothing gets stretched.
Does resizing reduce file size too?
Making an image smaller in pixels usually shrinks the file a lot. If you need to hit an exact KB limit, run it through the Compress image tool afterwards.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential documents?
Yes — and verifiably so. PDFAgent has no upload step: your file is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser and never leaves your device. You can open your browser’s network panel (or even go offline after loading the page) and confirm that no document data is transmitted.
