This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no upload step and no server processing — open your network panel and check: zero document data is transmitted. It even keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

    Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally binding electronic signature?

It adds a visible signature image — a “simple electronic signature” under regulations like eIDAS or ESIGN, widely used for everyday contracts. It is not a certificate-based qualified signature; for those you need a certified provider.

Where does my signature image go?

Nowhere. It is drawn on a canvas in your browser, embedded into the PDF on your device, and discarded when you close the page. PDFAgent has no server that ever sees it.

Can I sign in multiple places or pages?

Yes — after signing once, the tool stays loaded: pick another page or position and apply the signature again before downloading.

Is it safe to use this tool with confidential documents?

Yes — and verifiably so. PDFAgent has no upload step: your file is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser and never leaves your device. You can open your browser’s network panel (or even go offline after loading the page) and confirm that no document data is transmitted.
