Crop PDF pages
Trim a fixed amount from each edge of every page — remove scanner borders, cut off hole-punch shadows, or tighten margins so text looks bigger on tablets and e-readers. The crop is non-destructive: it adjusts the visible page box without deleting content.
How to use the Crop PDF tool
Select or drag your PDF.
Enter how many millimeters to trim from each edge.
Click “Crop PDF” and download the trimmed file.
Your files stay on your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no upload step and no server processing — open your network panel and check: zero document data is transmitted. It even keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Frequently asked questions
Is cropping reversible?
Yes. The tool sets the page’s crop box — the area viewers display — without deleting the underlying content. Tools that reset the crop box can restore the full page.
Can I crop each page differently?
This tool applies the same trim to every page, which covers the common cases (scanner borders, uniform margins). For one-off pages, split the document first.
Will the cropped PDF print at the new size?
Viewers print the cropped area. If you also want the paper size to change, run the Resize PDF tool after cropping.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential documents?
Yes — and verifiably so. PDFAgent has no upload step: your file is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser and never leaves your device. You can open your browser’s network panel (or even go offline after loading the page) and confirm that no document data is transmitted.
